valvetrain noise..
Well, I drove a lot today (about 140 miles) most of that being interstate miles. problem is i was turning 3000-3500 rpms on the interstate for about half an hour, and i might have hit 5200 once or twice. it was hot today and i did a lot of idling, however my motor didn't go over 195.
to the probem: i had my car idling in the garage tonight, and i poped the hood. i could hear something tapping or knocking. i was like "oh ****". i listened closer and i can hear it coming from passenger side valve cover.
would could it be? broken valve spring? as far as i know they are stock with 130k on them. loose rocker?
it looks as if i can take the valve cover off with only removing the tb. correct?
thanks in advance.

RE: valvetrain noise..
well i have the valve cover off and everything looks normal. its all very clean, and non of the rockers are loose. a broken valve spring would be obvious right?
all the rockers have "5" stamped on them. are these the stock ones?

i'm assuming by your sig that you have a foxbody w/ a 5.0. if i'm wrong, sorry [&:]
Do you have roller rockers or sled-style rockers? the 93 cobra is the only one that came stock with roller rockers, so you may have aftermarket rockers. Also, do you have nicks or scuff marks on the valve cover baffle? it's possible it may be hitting, but i would think it would be constant, not just when it warms up.....
