Exclamation I messed up big time.

I was changing out my thermostat housing, when on of the bolt holes seemed like it had stuff in the threads. So i took the bolt and started to try to thread it in when i droped it and it went into the intake! And i couldn't find it. I think it fell into the block. Could this bolt cut off any water flow to any part of the motor? What should I do?

Did it fall into the thermostat part of the intake or down the intake runners going towards the heads?

you know I'm not to sure. If you are looking at the motor from the front it fell to the driver's side like it went down a hole.

Is this an EFI car and did you have the top hat off of the engine? If you didn't have the top hat off, there's no way it went into the intake runner. If it only fell into the intake by the thermostat housing, its a pretty easy fix. If it went down an intake runner, it could be big trouble if you turn the engine over and it gets under a valve.
