Melting Ignition Wires

Melting Ignition Wires
Here's my issue. I have a 91' GT. Whenever I turn on the blower motor via vent, floor, normal a/c, etc, the yellow ignition wire, the one running for the ignition wiring harness that runs directly to the starter solenoid starts getting really hot and actually ended up melting a little bit the first time it happened. I am having no luck as to what is causing this to happen seeing as how this wire only runs to the starter solenoid.
Anyone have any suggestions or ran into this before??
Thanks for the help.

you may have a bad blower motor that has high resistence in the motor windings causing excessive current draw, hence the overheating wires, by now you may need to replace the wiring if it melted to much
