Default 5.0 swap question

I've searched just 3.8 to 5.0 and I couldn't find anything on this website. If there is im sorry and if u could direct to to the thread that would be much appreciated

Basically I know the K-member, computer, and other stuff need to be swapped. My question is that when ever y look on ebay u always see people selling the underhood harness which obviously u need

The computer harness is what i don't understand, do i honestly need a computer harness, since i have a fuel injected 3.8, and what does that harness go to, like under the dash? to everything?

Thanks

It would be best if you could find a wrecked or junk 94 you could use for parts and as a reference.

After you rebuild a 5.0 and buy all the parts you might be better off buying a 94 gt they can be had for very cheap.

well basically i like moderate challenges, and i found the car for $1400 bucks and its a project but i don't want to spend 100 on a wiring harness that i could have already used......
