Angry Newbie with a Question.

I have a 1992 2.3L LX that has been giving me problem after problem. Most I have managed to fix or get fixed. This latest one has me stumped. When I attempt to signal to turn either left or right the signal lights do not flash. The front and rear light bulbs all appear to work. The dash indicator lights also light up but remain solid. The hazard lights do flash both outside and on the dash. I can not locate the actual turn signal flasher under the dash. Can anyone please help.

Thanks

Keith

replace the flasher....it is located behind the dash on a suport rail to the left of the glove box by the fuel or trunk release button if yours is equipped with such, either way it should be in that area

Thanks for all the help. I did get it fixed this morning. Now I can actually hear the flasher. Before I had to look at the dash lights to see if it was working. I replaced the original with an after market one that is supposed to be 5X louder.

Thanks for the Help. This was a lot easier and cheaper that having to take it to a garage and be charged $100 just to locate the trouble and then another $100 in labour costs to replace a $15 part LOL.

Again BIG THANKS! ! ! ! I will be sure to check back when the next problem crops up.
