its a 5 speed.
he said it ran a 6.60 in the 1/8th, i seen a time slip but if it was really for this car i dont know, i did not witness it run my self. i can say for a fact that its just a tad slower than my 87 grand national and ive ran a 10.18 in that car.
i stoped racing several years back, dont really interest me any more. ill step on it occasionally but for the most part the car never goes faster than 65, its a every day driver.

i fixed it today, i ran a new positive cable and installed a brass battery terminal. it works so much better than one of those traditional style "crimp" terminals. i like the extra holes because i was able to wire my fan up directly to.

my big issue was the connection to the starter, the stock has that 90 degree bend that i could not buy or replicate. i did not want to destroy the wire to bend the end so i looped the wire. i put it in a new loom but it still rubs the motor mount, i hope it dont rub a hole in it.

interesting terminal, glad to hear it's fixed

yea mike i use to use those all the time when i custom make/installed audio systems for people. much nicer look under the hood rather than having an eyelet of the power wire attached to the stock crimped cable.all gold plated so no corrosion and excellent conductivity.
