No, I never did. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong, I just don't exactly have the space the space to move around. I am all cramped in a single car garage with a whole bunch of other junk in there. I figure I am going to have more 5.0's anyways,(1 of which will be a strip car) so I will get use out of this compressor more than once.
Thanks guys.

They are eibach pro-kit, so from what everyone is telling me, the should just slide in there. Not for me. I must be doing something wrong. So I decided to give in and try and get a compressor. The compressor that Joel5.0 posted works well?

If joel posted it then I am sure it would. Anytime I have swapped front springs they have been short enough to not need a compressor. Those have been my stock springs that I cut and a set of 03 cobras that are on it now that were also trimmed down.

If your in a pinch like I was,my springs were about 1.5" too tall for me to just pop them in.I went to autozone and got the external spring compressors. These would work but the bolts that come with them are way to long and bottom out on the control arms or top spring perch depending on which way you point them.So I went to lowes and got them same bolts that came with compressor but only like 6 inches long.Everything fit fine and they compressed the spring the extra inch or two I needed to put the spring in place.

they werent supposed to slide in, you just shove them in the perch, or worst case... prybar. but if you are having so much trouble...you can get what joel posted but that thing is expensive as hell! the clamshell style compressor from mcphearson i used for my drag springs was 60 bucks shipped on ebay.
