347 or 331

....I see a lot more people running 331's with a turbo/SC set-up...my feeling (and its mine) is that a 347 has been "traditionally" a NA set-up...It's only my opinion...being honest, I'd rather go 351W!
...so do you like apples or oranges better?

no the 304 was a typo i didnt catch it untill today.
Ive just been wondering about this because two of my friends have a 331 and then a 347. The 331 has twin 68mm and is runnin the new Boss block with Twisted Wedge heads and a custom valve train on this thing. he is makin over 1000.
Now the 347 is pretty much just that. he said it makes about 340 at the tire and im just shy of that with my 302. His car is set up for road racing and he is putting a turbo on this winter.
What i am curious about is which bottom end would hold up better to 10-15 lbs of boost or more, because the thought of a 460 even crossed my mind.

if you equally build a 331 and a 347 with the same level of parts i think they'd both take the same amount of boost. 10-15lbs isn't much for a built motor. so i'd go with a 347 and have more power from the get go.
