Default 19lb or 24lb injectors?

ok i have a 1993 gt with the 5.0 5 speed. gt 40 heads and intake. cold air intake, headers. mass air and throttle body. is it time for 24lbs injectors. or stay with the stock 19lbs. p.s im guessing that the stock ones are 19lbs.

Welcome! ...stock injectors are 19#'s ...I would put in the 24# injectors with at least a 110lph fuel pump (most people get a 190 or 255) and then you can really tune the car much better!

quick question when you upgrade to 24lbs, is it a must to get an upgraded fuel pump, wondering this cause we just didnt it in a buddys car and its hesitating and bucks at full throttle

I would go 24's in order to accomodate future plans. Probably overkill for now though.

When you say you upgraded the MAF, what do you mean? The 93 came with factory MAF...

calfroper -
Post ALL the details on the MAF your friend purchased. Pics will help...
Hope he didn't buy a '93 Cobra MAF....

good idea to upgrade to a better fuel pump. i got my walboro 190lph at jdsperformance.com for like $80 they are the cheapest around and walboros are great pumps. and they rnt very hard to install

ps stock pumps are like 80lph... trash

Make sure the MAF is calibrated for 24lb Injectors.

2. Make sure the MAF is clocked at 12 o clock. That meens straight up , not sideways.
