power steering rack question

Default power steering rack question

is it a good idea to use the stock rack as a manual rack if i fill it with fluid?

itll push all the fluid out as you turn it, can you use it? yea you can, i did it for about 6 months till i installed a manual rack, my car steered hard as hell but driving at speed down the road you could hardly tell. if you convert it over to manual which i highly recomend itll shed over 25 pounds, losing the pump, lines, ragjoint etc, and with the manual rack it steers great!

you can loop the pressure and return line together and do such but it'll be tough steering as a true manual rack will have better ratio to help out with steering effort..seen alot of peolpe at the track doing such
