Manual Trans Linkage

How hard is it to adjust the linkage in a manual trans? I got a WC T-5 and my shifter is really sloppy, I was told the bushings may be out or the linkage isnt adjusted right. What do you guys think? Its super sloppy in first, lots of movement even when Im at a standstill. Any help would be appreciated.

how hard are those to replace? do I have to disassemble the whole tranny or just where the shifter is?
