after a few hours have passed yea it will bleed down a little bit. is it at zero completely? can you specify how long?

my check valve went bad in my Fuel pump and the fuel pressure would bleed down to zero in about a minute after turning off the motor.

My car was off for maybe 4 hrs, before i went out and decided to look at it.

THe fuel pump is new.

I didn't use plumbers tape on the schrader valve. i'm going to use the tape and get a precise number and hour.

But it is normal for it do bleed down a little or not at all?

When i turned off the car 1 hr ago. psi read 24.5 and an hour later i'm at 15.5 psi.

If you know anything about fuel pressure, please let me know what you think,
thanks

also is it normal for the fuel pressure to rise after i turn the car off. i watched it this time and it rose from 27 to 30.5 in a matter of secs

Edit: alright 20 min have passed since i first posted this and its at 23 psi. so from 30.5 to 23 psi in 20 min. is this normal?
