Default Distributor Gear

I currently have an MSD billit distributor in my stock block with a stock cam. Will i need a different distributor gear when i upgrade to a new block w/ a comp custom ground cam or will the gear thats on it work?

Well im going from a 302 to a 306. will it matter?

im still trying to get an answer for this, theres a guy with a Mallory Billet Dizzy for sale near me, ive got all MSD stuff, wires, coil, box...will the mallory work well with the MSD? and ive got a Crane Cam, will i need to change the dizzy to a bronze gear if i bought it?

steel gear on a roller cam will work fine as far as dizzy working, depends on what model it is??
