Default help please!!

my aftermarket h pipe (catless) does not have the connection for the thermactor air injection system. Can I just leave the one connection that runs to the head, then leave the hose that ran back to the h pipe open, or should I plug this? Thanks

What is the purpose of the smog system pushing air into the heads? for simplicity could I just leave the system hooked to the heads and plug the end going to the exhaust, or leave this end open?

you could, the purpose of the system is to inject air into the exhaust stream at cold start up which by doing so: The air pump is used to inject air into each exhaust port. As the super-heated carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons pass from the cylinder into the exhaust port, they come in contact with the injected air. This causes the gases to burn, converting them to harmless carbon dioxide and water... The air pump also supplies more oxygen to the catalytic converter, which is dependent on additional oxygen to function effectively. This is only one method of controlling a car's emission of harmful gases into the air we breathe.

+1 on getting rid of it, you'll drop around 8lbs and gain 3hp...every little bit counts.
