Dudeboy,

You think so? A good deal of people are swearing by them. If it can save my $2500 H/C/I setup its well worth it IMO right??

I had a girdle here is what it looked like. did it hold things together? well I guess the only thing left that was good was the heads and the cam and lifters and the intake it wiped the rest out even the distributor and I fixed the oil pan just to put a new one on later. this was after 3 years hard running and count less runs. would I buy one again No, plus I got the one I had I got on the cheap.

I'm sure you have what you say you have , and don't take this the wrong way , I mean no disrespect, but I feel based on your comments that it's you who don't have much experience in the FORD world. Why?? Because if you knew anything about the limitations of a stock block , you'd never of built a beast of such in a stock block and on top of that thrown a 200 shot on top of it. tO PUT THINGS IN PERSEPECTIVE, the moment you crack the bottle and mash the gas to the floor I can almost gaurantee before you hit the 1/8th that block will let go even with a valley and or main girdle. Seriously save your money for a good block to transfer those parts too, before your out those parts and a block, the blocks people have pictured/posted let go with far less hp THROWN at them then you are, learn from the pics

I wouldnt say useless, they'll hold the block halves together long enough to make it down the track without making a mess
