Car died on my during rush hour.
I was driving my wife's 94 the other day and it had been cutting out for a week or two and it just died on me. I called my mom and she towed me to my cousins house. Couple days later I towed it to my house and when I cranked it to check for spark it started right up. That tells me it is the ignition module, but the cutting out and the tach jumping tells me its the distributer. I heard there are issues with the 94-95 distributers. What do you guys think?

it's very possible on both...has the igintion every been replaced? there was a big recall for it...sometimes if you turn the steering wheel fast the car will cut off. sometime the radio will quit as well..any of these issues?.. the switch is like 25 @ NAPA and takes about 15mins to fix...

The thumbs down and sarcasm won't help your cause. You posted on Valentines day so most guys were either running to eckards to scamble through the 3 Valentines day cards, hunting for the last of the wilted roses or diving off the headboard that you post just got lost. Trying being a little more polite. Like maybe "Bump" "anyone" "Still need help". Good luck on your repair

patience!!! sounds like you wanna slap parts so go buy the two parts you mentioned and retest.....oh FYI tac jumping around just means you have an ignition related prob, loose connections and or other things can cause such symptoms......
