Default Convert to carb and intake or go with new CAI injectors and TB

hey guys i have a HCI done on my mustang with 4 10s and my dad wants to get a New holley carb with a victor jr intake and a new dirtbiutor and fuel pump but i said we should go with bigger injectors ,TB ,CAI and a C&L mass air meter what are gonna be the power differences and easibility to tune also what about gas mileage thanks in advance

I'd rather stay fuel injected. I don't think there would be too much of a difference in fuel consumption with a carb. There probably would not be much of a difference in power either.

Carbs are easier to work on,tune, EFI is gonna cost ya...up to you though.

In theory, you will make a few more ponies with a carb, but more tq with FI. Lookin at some money either way. You will get better mpg's with FI. I think a Vic. Jr is way too big for a mild 302. An Air-gap would be a MUCH better choice. What heads, cam, and intake are you currently running? Thats where it really matters. You need to match your heads, cam, and intake to each other or else you'll just have a bunch of parts making noise.

As far as a carb being easier to tune....

It can be a nightmare if you dont know what you are doing.

id have to say you can make good power with either but its always going to cost more efi than it will carb'd to make the same power carb has better throttle response and i also think you can make the engine bay look a little better than efi thats just my 2 cents im sure alot of people will disagree but in the end its all about what you want
