Default Double checking TB Info

Ok so heres whats goin on...I have a stock motor w AC elim and cold air intake non mass air. I was told that I could run a bigger TB w the stock setup. Im only looking to go with a 65mm off of a explorer. I was originally going to get one from a 93 cobra but missed out on it. I looked into to a little bit and found out that it should bolt right up no problem but ill just have to use the stock linkage from my old TB but I am worried about it throwin off the air/fuel mix. Anyone know if this will work as is or do I have to make adjustments? Thanks again guys your a huge help!

if you swap out TB's the only think you'll have to adjust is your TPS to read at the correct voltage of .6-1.01v on the green wire key on, engine off.

however if you have a stock stang the tb wont do anything for you, if anything you'll hinder your performance. if you are going to upgrade something for the intake process i recommend doing a C&L MAF before you do the intake/TB.

best bet is to put your money where it'll make the most sense for a stock mustang. a.k.a. gears, exhaust, e-fan, heads, suspension.
