The above link has an article written by a guy who did it. I did mine pretty similar to him. Another guy wrote up a similar article but I couldn't find it.
One thing is you have to use your old TPS sensor from your 'stang. It will not have the self centering feature on the Explorer TB and you will have to be patient trying to find the center as well as adjusting it to be below 1.00 VDC signal return at closed throttle. In other words to be able to swing the throttle without the blade slipping inside the sensor stops. You will have to open up the holes quite a bit for adjustability as the explorer TPS screws are 5MM with a different hole spacing compared to the Mustang's #8-32 (if I remember correctly).

I am currently running a Exploder TB. I cut and re welded the linkage in the right place and I just swapped the plug from my original TPS, can't remember why and the site I used for reference is gone now...it was on TMoss porting site, but it doesn't seem to work anymore. Here is the link anyway http://www.tmossporting.com/tabid/1671/Default.aspx
The best thing I would do if I had it to do over is to take the linkage off you stock TB and put it on the exploder TB. I didn't do that because I wasn't sure how well it would work and I didn't want to ruin the stocker. With the cut and turned linkage, my pedal is a little harder to push down.
