My buddy has some 4.33's, i can get them super cheap and was wondering if thats to short of a gear. What are some of the things i should consider. I already have 3.73's and im just wondering if it'll be worth doing.....basically looking for every edge i guess, i'll be doing the work myself. The car hardly see's the highway and hardly gets driven, other than driving to the track. And i'm currently running a 275/50-15 MT dragradial

with the tire you are using 4.33 may be a tad much if it's a 3.35 t-5 tranny you have, you'll be banging gears quick

yes its deff a 3.35 trannys....i was wondering if it was to much but wasn't sure...would u say it would be to much for the strip...i belive that tire is about a 27 o.d. and u can get the same tire in a 275/60, which i think is about a 28inch tall tire....like isaid the gears are cheap and looking for and edge over my buddie and just wondering what to consider

275 50 15 IS CLOSER TO A 26 INCH TIRE, I have that tire and 3.73's and soon may switch to 4:10's,
