Default 331 fuel questions

my buddy is building a 331 stroker. shortblock from CHP, TFS top end kit. he wants to run @ 9-9.5:1cr i think. POSSIBLY 10:1, but i think he'll keep it lower. i told him 30lb injectors and a 255lph fuel pump would be suffice for the fueling. anybody agree with that, or do you think he would need bigger injectors?? and he WILL be running an adjustable fpr, but just thought i would ask for him. thanks.

awesome. thanks. i figured they would be, but thought i would ask. that pump be sufficient enough too??

i always kinda heard everytime you do a "basic" 302 upgrade(aka 306, 331, or 347), just step up the injectors for a baseline sorta. 306-24's, 331, 30's, 347, 42's...any truth to that, or is that just sufficient fuel for each engine to be on the safe side? i heard 19lb injectors can support up to @ 330-350hp..true? my teacher at school showed me the formula for injector sizing, but my dumba$$ didnt write it down when he showed with the rest of the formulas from school, so, i dont remember it. haha

the pump is fine as well, im running a 190lph in mine, the cubic inch really doesnt determine the injector size its all in the combo.. im running 30's with my 347

the tfs kit is geared toward a 302 build not a stroker but if your happy with a 331 making 302 power then it's fine.

haha. seriously though?? i kno alot of people running the trackheat setup on a 331. i mean, i know there are better flowing heads, but, ive never heard anything bad about 'em on a stroker. but, strokers do need more airflow. ill pass the word on to him.
