Auto A9M ECU in a manual??
Hello,
I just discovered that the ECU in my '89 is an A9M. According to an online listing, this is an automatic ECU. My car is manual, how will this affect drivability and tune? Can the A9M be fooled to act like a manual ECU? What's the difference?
Thank you!
Vehicle Setup:
ECU: EEC-IV A9M
Block: 1993 5.0
Transmission: T56 manual
internals: Probe forged, 10.1:1
intake: Trick Flow TFS-51511001
cam: Trick Flow TFS-51402000
lifters: Ford Racing
pushrods: Trick Flow TFS-21406700
heads: Trick Flow TFS-51400004
rockers: Trick Flow TFS-51400510 1.6:1
MAF: 75mm 30lb tune
Throttle Body: BBK 75mm
Injectors: 30lb (red)
