Default My recession build

So, my mustang has been off the road for a little over 3 months now. Honestly i miss her too much and need to get her back on the road, i was going to rebuild the motor and get a stroker in their but i have figured out what was causing some of the immediate problems. I'm gonna fix those to prepare the car for the stroker and when i have the money, i'll order my stroker.

Some questions first.
Has anyone tried this combo pack from summit
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...0&autoview=sku
I need a new cooling system because my clutch fan flew off, and my radiator leaks.

And im looking at a disk rear, 3.73's out of a 96 cobra. The guy wants 600 for it...sounds a little absurd to me, but when i figure into doing the gear swap any way it seems almost worth it.

Thoughts?

I would never pay $600 for a used axle, ebay would be your best friend in that area. you can rebuild the axle you have with new gears and bearings for less than that and then hit a boneyard for the brakes

$600 a lttle $$$, but when you consider cost of gears & install, + being a Cobra, it's ok! As far a being a little wider, you can make up the difference with different wheels backspacing! ...FFRP sells a '95 Cobra R wheel with a just for the Fox (5 lug)

Look around and find you a running 90 model Lincoln Mark VII. You can pick up a running version for 500-800. Has the rear disc rear you want and a spare engine and all kinds of other neat stuff you can use. You could sell the air bags and almost get your money back.
