Default Cheapist way to convert to mass air???

Looking to go mass air in a 1988 but need it cheap!
What is the best way?

well granatelli makes the harness that goes into the computer and connects to the mass airflow sensor for under 100 bucks and you can pick up the computer and mass airflow sensor at the junk yard with luck!!

I did mine for about $220 using a Remand ECU ($110) and a used Pro M 75mm MAF ($70) ,then I bought a pigtail from ford for the MAF ($12) and some EEC-IV terminals from fordfuelinjection.com ($8) and some wire and shrink tube ($20) and made my own harness. It all works great and I got an upgraded MAF. I made a CAI to work.

You could do a MAF swap for less than that easy. Go on ebay and look for a 94-95 70mm MAF from either a 5.0 or 3.8, they are the same. The will work for your swap (I was going to use one, but I got a good deal on the Pro M) You can get one on ebay for around $30. Make your own harness, and find a ECU and you are in business.
