Default painting intake manifold

do i need to put some primer???? or can i just paint it??

Clean it good and shoot it. Using primer, paint and clearcoat would prob be better. Engine paint is pretty durable

first step would be ofcourse to preclean ur part with somthing like dx330 or mx190 let it dry do it again if u want the least amount of trash in ur paint then clean it again and tack it off and if ur going with a spray bomb get high temp primer which helps ur topcoat paint stick and a clearcoat is really not nessacary for engines...but if u wanna take the time and extra cash to make it nice get it powder coated.
