Default A/F ratio ? and Fast tuning

My buddy just bought a 89 lx last night with a Fast DFI system on it. Its set up to be sprayed on a 200 dry shot with a second 100 dry shot stage to go with. So the guy has the A/F real rich I data logged it on my laptop with the fast program and its at 9.74 to 1 at idle and it doesn't like to run. So my question is what is an ideal A/F ratio to have a n/a engine run at idle since my buddy isn't going to spray it until he gets a tune in a few months? Also what should it be ending at on high rpm? Its got a 308 with forged flat tops with 11:5:1 compression with edlebrock RPM heads with mild port job, fast lower intake, 50# injectors, bbk long tubes with 3 in exhaust, And the cam is unknown because the motors been swapped around a bit. Any help will be appreciated.
