I'm very serious. As for turbos. No. I believe very strongly in the classic American muscle. I honestly don't like supercharging either. I'd rather be N/A but to get a N/A car into the low tens.... would cost obscene amounts of money that I probably won't ever posess.

Wheather you go N/A, Blown or Turbo and done right it's going to cost about the same to get into the 10's. I fully intend to go mid 10's in my N/A Fox. The car will be extremly light and the engine make gobs of power over a wide torque band. No matter how you go it cost a lot to go fast. If you want to go fast cheap build a Small block Chevy and throw an obsene amount of Nitrous at it. Bottom line is you pay to play. As for me I really like N/A power. It's just my thing. No bottle, No blower, No Turbo. Thats the old school in me I guess but what I do requires minimal tuning and the power is repeatable, consistant, predictable, and durable. I've had car than ran low 9's that I could make 30 passes a day in and be out on the street that night. You just have to be able and willing to spend the money. When you build a 10 second car you have to build the entire car not just the engine. All the power you can make doesnt mean anything if it's braking parts and won't hook up. My advice would be to build a nice 11 second street bruiser that will give you miles and miles and lots of passes down at the local drags. Realisticly there just arn't that many true street drivers that can actually get into the 11's. Lots of posers and dyno queens laying down the numbers but I spend an obsene amout of time at my local tracks and it rare to see a guy drive an 11 second car through the gate. Takes more than power to get you there. That takes $$$$$ a well set up car and time behind the wheel.

my advice would be to buy a 9 sec mustang already done..it's much cheaper and I'm not sure if you have the knowledge of all what is involved in a 9 sec car...

Money won't be an issue. I intend to make this a project. I don't expect it to happen over night either. I'm just looking for the best way to make the car fast. To be honest I'd rather keep the car N/A. As for handling the car, shouldn't be too much of a problem. I drive my brothers 10 second Vette regularly. I didn't do any of the work on that car though. Regardless. Won't be a problem.

I think I would rather have a 10's car with N/A to be honest.
