Default 18x9 wheels--->tires!

I have a STOCK 92 5.0 vert. I picked up some 18x9 Cobra R wheels. Whats the "recommended" size tires to put on them?? I would like to hear your ideas for having the same size all around, and opinions on tire size for front and back.

265/35R18 or 275/35R18.
rubbing might be an issue up front with those tires. are they original or repro Cobra R's?
oh 95 or 2000 style?

Yeah that's pretty much right on the money, if you want something less wide you could get away with 255/40-18s.

They are "1987-1993 Cobra 'R' 1995 Style Wheels"....in other words, I guess you could say Replica Cobra R's 1995 style. I was thinking of going with some 255/40/18s in the front, there shouldn't be a issue with rubbing or clearance right?

Ive seen 245/45/17 upfront and 275/40/17 in the back on a fox and it looked really sharp, your 17x9s might rub upfront on the control arms or swaybar youll have to check with the car on jacks and steering wheel at full lock to be sure. I dont think youll have any quad shock issues in the back, but someone will chime in if im wrong!

I have 275/35-18's all the way around, with some minor rear fender tweaking you should have no problem @ all, I have my Q-shocks removed....but thats just coming from my side of things....The front of my car scrubs a good bit going over some bridges and hard bumps or if you have a big boy in the passenger seats....from lock to lock it'll hit ,but i just make sure not to turn it that far...my car is lowered with eibach's sportline springs w/ no isolators so it sits kinda low....it's still everyone to there own...but like i said thats just my 2 cents with what i have....and u can rotate your tires...
