So bad MPG on the new car any ideas?
Car set up is as follows
Vortec V2 SQ
42 lb injectors
T rex pump
Ported E7 heads (yea yea I know they are a waist but they were free and the car needed head gaskets anyway)
Edelbrock upper and lower
Lunati 510 cam, matched springs
3.73 gear
Fuel pressure is set at 40 psi on the regulator with it unplugged.
I am getting less than 100 miles per tank. I have no Tweecer, or PMS . I know the car needs to be tuned and all, but is there anything I can in the mean time to get better MPG. I am not beating on it all the time, but do go WOT from time to time. Am I missing something here??

I get 12.5mpg city(170 per tank) and 19 highway with similar mods, but I rarely get on it.(maybe twice a week to 60mph). I also have an auto. I think a good tune will do you good. BTW, how does your new car compare to the old LS1?

The LS1 would kill it in a drag race, but the Stang is a blast to drive. It's really an apples to grapefruit comparison. The pretty much has road race suspension on it. From a roll the Stang would beat the LS1 I feel...that is if ot got any traction. It blows the tires off as soon it reaches 10 psi in 3rd gear...this is at like 45 mph

Awesome, glad your having a blast with the boost. Quick question, what pulley size are you running(3.33, 3.12, 2.95) and do you have a powerpipe? As for your mpg, I've seen manual cars getting 14-15mpg and 22 on the highway. It's not great, but much better than what you are currently getting.
