Looking at a built up 5.0
Hello all, i sold my old 5.0 a few months ago and it didnt take me long to come crawling back looking for another : D
Im looking at one right now and i have a few questions about it.
Heres what it has
Rebuilt 306
JR. Windsor Heads
1.6 Rockers
Comp cam
Sport pistons
24lb injectors
Intake, and mac header-exaust system.
Converted to MAF
Nitrous kit that hasnt been installed yet.
Weld wheels and drag radials
Fully adjustable 4 link suspension.
Tremec 3550 with zoom clutch and flywheel
Im obviously looking for a 1/4 mile car and this seems to have alot done to it that i would need already. I have a few questions though.
How does the engine build look? I havent heard of Windsor JR heads or sport pistons befor. Are they good? I dont know much about the foxbody suspension yet. What does he likly mean by saying its a fully adjustable 4 link?
Anything else catch your eye as good or bad? Its a 87 hatchback in pretty good shape overall.

Without specifics on the engine build there is no way to tell. Comp makes about 200 OTS cams for the 5.0 , heads are decent but not real special, what intake, what compression ratio, cam spec's, what headers, etc etc etc. Unless you have that imformation nobody can tell you. How does the car run?
