Default rust on cam

my buddy has a brand new cam in his garage. hes stored it for a while and said i could have it. but its got some surface rust on it. not a lot, looks like little sprinkles of rust in some areas. how bad is this? is it usuable?

Try wiping it clean with some rust remover, hopefully the metal underneath isn't damaged.
