fuel pump wont turn on

ok i checked the inertia switch and reset it and also checked the fender mount selonoid and all the wires r on i dont have a tester goin to get1 in the morning

ok so if i take the fuel pump relay off and jump a wire from the red wire to the pink and black the pump will turn on

grab a test light and prob the O/LB WIRE DO YOU HAVE 12 V ON IT IN KOEO MODE??

fyi UP by the eec test connector where you run the koer test from is a VIP self test connector for the fp ....all you do is ground it, if pump comes on with relay installed then you know that the ecm is not seeing the PIP signal to ground the realy so windings are pulled in and relay contacts bridged for pump operation

with an ohmmeter I believe the pins for the load carry are 30 and 87 you can pull the relay out and tapping on to the correct pins which will be the other two engauge relay and see if you have a continuity across 30 to 87, if not and the relay clicks = most likely bad contacts in relay, but when you grounded the test connector make sure the key was in the run position and not off.

i dont have an ohm meter, the key was in the running position, when i grounded the connector, the relay clicked

if the relay clicks, probe the pk/bk wire with a test light and see if it lights up...does it???? also did the O/LB wire have 12 v on it???.....hurry up I'm waiting!!!..lol
