Can a starter out of a 93 5.0 automatic be used in a 89 manual 5.0?

yes or no?

Yes it can but you need to make a jumper wire from the big lug (the main power wire) to the little lug on the solenoid on the starter itself. You can wire it like the factory if you want but that works perfectly fine too.

ok so i got the starter and its the one that dosnt have the solenoid on the outside :/

does this change anything?
