Yea that is a betetr idea. haha I had to mess with line alot to get it to not pinch. And im pretty sure on those measurements but not positive. If its just so you can get it home then im sure it will work long enough for you. But it would be best to get the measurements exact

LOL!!! ha ha ha, thats awesome, I never would have thought of using a socket!

I used 2 elbows to bypass the heater core. I went straight from the waterpump to the intake. Ill see if I can get a pic of the total hackjob hoses I got along with some measurements.

That was my thought but since I couldn't figure out where Slo5oh was talking about putting a union I thought I'd keep my mouth shut and learn something. But the more I read it wasn't a union he was talking about it was a plastic 90 degree elbow or coupling that he wanted to insert between the 2 hoses, and with that said I don't think it's a 1" ID to a 3/4" ID is correct , I'm more inclined to think the 3/4" X 5/8" ID is more correct.
