This Mustang 87 mustang 5.0 that i just bought has almost no brake pedal! I've changed the master cylinder, both rear wheel cylinders and I've bled the brakes completely... same result! What could it be???

When you bled the brakes did you step on the brake pedal or just let the fluid out? It could possibly be the booster!

How are you bleeding the brakes? What order?

I had my son pump the brakes 4 times then hold... Then I opened the bleeders. I bled them starting at the rear passenger, then driver, then passenger front, then driver. I asked a local mechanic about the brake booster... he said the booster would be "hard as a rock" if the booster went out!

did you bench bleed the master cylinder before installing it?? or just install it then filled the resevoir and then tried to bleed it from the wheels??
