Default 95 mustang ecu

Hey i just finished rebuilding my engine and there are some problems. The problems were there before the rebuild. when i drive it and im coming to a stop, i take it outa gear and put it in neutral it will idle at 2k and will eventually come down once it sits for a while (sometimes it will just stay there) Also i think the car was previously supercharged. Its getting too much fuel, you can smell it. when i drive it and give it gas quick it will bogg down and sort of stall. I think what happened was they took the s/c off and didnt tune down the ecu. If anyone can help please do.

Thanks

also would a 95 cobra ecu work on my 95 gt? (im thinkin about just replacing the ecu)

If they tuned it I believe there should be a chip on it. Remove the computer and see if there is one on it, if so unhook - battery cable remove it an hook up battery and try it.

i took it out. there is no chip. there is an empty hole on the back of the ecu that was taped closed. I mean what else could it be? it starts up and idles a little funny and when i give it gas it bogs down so much. any ideas of what it could be?

What injectors does it have? What is the fuel pressure set at? Dont know about the cobra computer. Is the timing set properly?

That may be the problem. 42's is awful big for a n/a 302.

Oh a 347...42's are still too big it would run rich. No the 42's will not flow the stock amount they flow alot more. Where is everyone else?? Someone else prolly knows more than I do on this. I know that 94-95 computers are more tempermental than the foxes. You may need to get it tuned since you have a 95 where the fox computer takes engine mods better. I would still get smaller injectors like 30# And get the mass air to match.
