oh ya, and my last post was really f*cking long, im sorry about that. those who took the time to read it u will probably better understand where im coming from. Its just EXTREMELY frustrating. if it were any other car that I had put this much money into and wasnt making the 400whp yet, I would have ditched it. but I know how sick foxes are and can be, and it now has the potential im looking for. I will be there some day, its just a learning experience, im still young, however I wanted a crate motor but the parents werent going for that. maybe now they wouldve gone my route ;] would have been a hell of a lot cheaper thats for sure.

I fully understand that sometimes you have to use what you have in hopes that something sometime in the future better parts will come down the road. The thing I don't understand is that you are 19 and still riding mommy and daddys checkbook to build your ride. Get a job save the money and buy the parts. When I ws 19 I already had 3 kids, 2 jobs and in my second year of college. Mom and dad did the right thing by not going for the crate motor. It will be a valueable lesson.

I'm going to guess 260 rwhp @ 5000 rpm 350lbft@ 3600 at the wheels. Keep a -3:27 gear in the rear and it will hold you for a while

I know, up until my motor blew I was paying for everything myself. I am working part time and going to school full time also.. I understand the lesson thing too, but my sister is getting married in June, and as far as money goes we would have saved at least a couple thousand dollars by going with a crate motor.. money is very tight with my family as it is and I found out last night I need a new radiator which they are installing today then tuning it which is more $$ - needless to say I feel pretty crappy about having my hook caught in the wallet if you know what I mean.
On another note, I believe I have the stock ring and pinion gears somewhere, not sure if they were the 2.73's or the 3.0x or something.. do you think the tq would make it quicker than the 3.73s? gears was one of my first 3 or 4 mods and it was slow as hell before the swap.. but Ive got a lot more power now..
