i have a miss when driving at normal speeds i just finished re installing the intake manifold on to car and also torqued it down with a torque wrench in the 3 steps, and when i was done drove car around to get it to normal temp and re torque them again did this like 5 times to get them all right but i still have a surge when rpms are dropping between 2k and 1k then when i get to complete stop my idle goes down to normal, and i checked it many times already and i dont have any vac leaks. I even set the timing to 12 deg, what could be causing this miss and surge.
Your computer is gonna have to relearn things after modifications. After my explorer install, it took 2 days of driving for the computer to relearn everything. I would perform a base idle reset.
drive the car around for a little and if it doesn't clear up, start with a koer test

thats what i was thinking, but i hardly drive my car so it will probably take a while till comp relearns it. I havent done the whole process of the base idle reset, the only thing i have messed with is the tps. But i did notice i lost power in my lower rpms but pulls a little bit more in the higher rpms. Also did notice my car was overheating it was weird id be driving normal and temp needle would go up and when i would accel it would go down or sometimes it was the other way around i would drive normal and temp would be good and when i would accel it would overheat then when overheated i would go in neutral and needle would drop, maybe i have a bad sensor
make sure you have good heat and the system is well bled
well yesterday i had to change the lower radiator hose cause it was leaking and filled it with some antifreeze and ran car and thats when i noticed it still overheated so i came back checked water and i was kinda low so i put some water and went to drive around and needle stayed like in the middle it didnt overheat anymore, i accel, drove normal and car didnt overheat anymore.
