Trying to pick gears.

Or maybe that it is a heavy car. Heavy car=slow acceleration. I'm trying to fix this problem but no one is trying to help me. Only tell me I'm a liar. Now if your not going to answer my question please don't post anymore. This wasn't a "hey look at how fast my car is post". I asked a question and I need an answer. Whether you think I'm lying or not you refuse to answer the initial question. I don't want to waste my time proving what I have in my car. I want to know what needs to go in.

That sounds a lot like mine. But also look at how much stuff you have on it. You have to be making way over everybodies "Oh you look like you have about 220 not 420" estimates. But once again... only one person answered my question. I thank them but please if you feel you must criticise me, call me a liar, do whatever the least you could do is actually answer the question I asked.

I know this is hard. I understand. Horsepower to weight ratios can be complicated. a 3,300 pound car with 400 horsepower give or take does not run through the roof times. But you can't get enough knowledge from just reading what other people say on a computer to chime in on a conversation you don't fully understand first hand. If you don't race at the track and spend time their how do you know how fast people can run their cars? Because thats what they say? How do you know every mod someone has? How do you know if they have gutted their car? You don't. So go back to your little computer world and keep playing your need for speed and let the people who actually race talk please. I didn't want to be a ***** but if there is something that really pisses me off its people who want to condemn someone before they know what they are talking about.

iF YOUR 1/8 MILE RACING ONLY go for a set of 4.30 gears, now with that being said............Let me clue you in on the way the crate motors are rated, they are dynoed with no accessories and no drivetrain, so after you add all that figure that 345 hp crate motor if it ever did make that to begin with on a dyno at about 270 ish rwhp, low 9 sec 1/8 mile = low 14 sec 1/4 mile as long as acceleration remains consistant.
