Forgot to tell you to get the unwelded ford cross member. It will slide back far enough for a turbo 350 to bolt right to it.

The only thing wrong with this kind of swap is the car will be worth more apart that together. A Chevy powered Fox body is a hard sell unless it's really special. Sometimes you have to work with what you have and do the best you can. People who have contempt for your build are stuck in their closed mind. Hot Rodding started like this. Throwing Flathead ford motors in anything or just whatever it took to go fast even if it meant stripping the car down to nothing but a bare body with no fenders, hood or roof. Do a nice neat job and be proud of it. It's the essence of Hot Rodding.

i agree buy a camaro lol . only reason people put chevy motors in stangs are cuz chevy motors are cheap and easy to repair when blow em up lol . that and bout every one has sbc parts laying round every where . i know at 1 time i had 4 sets heads and 5 blocks in 1 year . chevy motors jus dime dozen . and till this day i still say ford motors are stronger cuz i have blown alot chevy motors n never once blew a ford . i know if could take a chevy 350 turbo tranny and put on a 302 that would be nice . cuz thats only downfall on fords are there trannys cant hold up as good as a chevy tranny unless u pay **** load money for good 1 .

I hate to be the one to give you the bad news but a small block chevy engien is much stronger than a 5.0 Ford. If you keep blowing them up you better learn how to build an engine. I'll give credit where credit is due. The SBC is the most inexpensive engine to build because it's been around for 54 years. It is a strong platform and is still the most popular engine in history and for good reason. It's tough, it's strong and can handle a lot of power.
As far as transmissions goes a C4 is pretty strong and a C6 is as strong or stronger than a Turbo 400. It's painfully obvious you don't have a clue

Can you people read?? Keep your trap shut unless it is about what the OP asked. And for the record, SBC blocks don't like to split in half at 500 hp as often as what a 5.0 deos.
