Default subframe ?

Hi just curiuos i already have a set of mini subframe connections in my 90 coupe, "the ones from the torque box to subframe. I was wondering if i can get an extenion kit welded on so they are full length, or would it be better to cut off and weld in the full subframe connectors?

if you could find the same style tubing and weld the two together, but best way is remove what you got and weld a new/good set in
