Default 95gt misfire

I currently am having a misfire at mid rpm range. I know its a misfire but my check engine light does not come on.i changed plugs wires cap rotor, ran injector cleaner, and cleaned the maf. It only misfires on occasion, and usually only when the exterior temp is above 40 degrees. also, i've been told that it could be the timing chain. would i loose or stretched chain affect the timing so much causing a mis fire?

Default i learned this

i kinda had the same problem but would happen once the motor heated. I went out and bout the code reader at auto zone(32$) i had no check engine light ever and ended up having codes for the O2 senosors and MAF.

what happened is when the converters heaated up it coused the car to run in lean conditions and causing what seemed to be timing issues. The mass air flow was dumping more air thinking the car was asking for more gas in turn caused it to run like it was out of time one the motor heated up the converters.

pull codes and they will tell you everything. it is worth spending the money on a reader.

it will keep you from cherry picking the problem

for what its worth i hope this helps

good luck
