1: is there a "shorter" water pump or somthing I can get? my prob is I have a mk8 fan and it has to be offset the l or r cause the fan hits the pump pulley. i did trim the fan shroud down 1''.

2: i wont be finishing my stroker build for a while, but in the meantime can i put my 1.7 cobra/ scorpion rockers on? they are the ped. mount style. or i also have a set of heads from a 88 i could swap. or both????

I was going to go to the junk yard this week to pick up one myself so you have peaked my interest. Any way you can fit it on the front of the rad? (assuming you dont have, or have removed, air conditioning)

Just offset it some, a shorter water pump will cause the pulleys to not line up. Then you'll be stuck trying to find a pulley that will work. Yes, the rocker arms will work.

i do have AC but will be deleting it and smog stuff this summer. i never thought about putting it in the front as a pusher???


ya i do have it ofset to the drivers side right now. i was wondering if it could be changed.

Trim some more off the fan.I have the same one on my 84's and my 89 with no issues cant see why you are unless somethings seriously tweaked?
