Default Spec Clutch Toasted so soon why

I had a Spec stage 2 in my car for a while and I loved the feel of it. My car had major wiring problems then paint which had it off the road for a year. I got it back and the first few day it was still perfect. Then it started slippin worse and worse. I finally couldnt drive it. I replaced it thinkin maybe oil got on it from the rear main or flywhell problems from sitting but clutch disc was toast after maybe 5k miles it was adjusted and engaged perfect.

First off Spec Clutches are Junk. Sitting up for a year probably pulled the face off the disc the first time you pushed in the clutch.

For the past 2 years i have been using a XTD stage 3 clutch that i bought on ebay..... surprising enough it has been the best clutch i have ever used. have not had any problems with it on my turbo car.

Yeah i'd also like to know why you feel they're junk. One thing i have noticed about clutches though is somebody has something bad to say about pretty much every clutch on the market, and usually people suggest what they're currently running. As for me I've had a great experience with my spec stage 2 so far...
