Common Rust Spots On Fox Body Convertibles and other questions?
I am looking at a 1991 GT Vert with a 5-Speed as a daily driver, it is for sale locally and I just quickly looked at it yesterday and it seemed decent. I am not familiar with these mustangs at all and am curious as to where rust is most common and also what usually will need to be replaced or checked into at 70,000 miles. Also, would this car have a limited-slip rear?

If it has a true 70K, it probably spent winters indoors, and is probably relatively rust free. Common Fox rust spots are behind the front and rear wheels, doors(look inside door along crimped-over skin at door bottom) and the rear deck lid. Those are very obvious ones; the structural ones(torque boxes, frame rails, pan) might be obvious too, but a little harder to see.
