Buy the book "Building big inch Small Block Fords" read it three times, Book report due on Friday. It's a good basic book that will explain a lot to the novice.

key things to outline in building it are budget, hp level/et level , then from there based on what you choose you can build the chasis accordingly , also what will be intended use for car is a key thing to define.

tHat what makes a engine great. You can go from mild to wild in an infinate number of ways. The book will really help you understand how it works and why things do the things they do. It will give you some real good insight.
