Default need help on cam size!!

Hey, I just came up on a smokin deal with a roller 302 that hasnt even been put together yet. It is a 91 block with forged inernals but with stock bore, Edelbrock aluminum heads Gear drive and well the cam the guy said it was the second one from ford racing. The guy planned on having it smog legal for his mustang, But now im going to stuff it in my 62 ranchero so my question is before the machine shop assembles it next week i want to know what is the biggest size cam i could stuff in that motor without clearence problems. Im going to the machine shop tomorrow to see the number on the cam it has now.

The pistons are pro power flat top. The heads are performers with 2.02 valves. Im going tomorrow to get the full specs on the parts that are going to be installed.

bigger isn't always better nor does lift define if ptv will occur, it's a matter of valve timing events

there are a lot of shops that make custom cams specifically to the parts you have on you car or are putting in...
