Here is another one to look at as well I think they were in the 5.0 write up a few months back they look very intereseting and the price looks right as well and some of there other heads they have for the 5.0 are priced nice as well. Look up tristatecylinderhead.com i think is there site or google it trust me you won't go wrong checking out there products. I think there aluminum heads are around 800 bucks complete.

i have those JR's on my car right now and i coldnt ask for a better performing cast head. i mean its cools well, especially at the same rate as the block so no blowing head gaskets left and right, there easily ported, they flow great. IMO, you cant go wrong for the money!!

It's a good head that responds well to porting. BUT you can take 50 lbs off the front of your car with aluminum heads that flow much better out of the box for not much more money. If I were going to put a nice set of heads on a 302 truck they would be my choice. I wouldn't put them on a Mustang unless I got a killer deal on them.

i went to tristatecyclinderheads.com. Good site! One question, are flo-tek 5.0x heads good? are they better then the world products windsor jr heads? if so im doing them. They look nice. Also what should my compression be if i go down to a 58cc combustion chamber. I have stock compression pistons.

A buddy of mine told me that you might be taking a risk buying those flo tek heads. They are not always straight when you get them and you could end up blowing head gaskets. I was in the same boat as you a month ago. I went with the world heads. Same model. They have a good name behind them and can be ported well. Im wondering the same thing about what my compression will be. im thinking around 10-1
