Most of the ones I take off tear up pretty bad. I have a one head gasket that I use that was one Torqued down and then pulled the head right back off that I use but most guys who pull one off a 100K Iron head engine the gasket isn't worth using.

Trying to give you an engine building lesson!?! What the hell are you talking about? Simply put, you provided information (saying it’s the only way) and I provided some information on an alternative. Yes the preferred method is what you stated, but not everyone is equipped to perform this method. As I have, try having some humility.

You were the person telling me that I must not have experiance with Solid roller lifters, I just told the OP how to do it without complications. I don't any humility in this conversation until I blow it out my azz. I do that on occasion so just give it time and it will happen. lol

Just to clarify, as quoted. I never said you must not have experience with solid roller lifters. I said it seems that you have limited experience with the lifters that come in “retro fit” kits (dog bone / not link bar) because they use FMS lifter bodies with different internals. Like the Comp 851-16’s that come in many retro fit kits, many times they even have the Ford part number stamped in them. The statement was not intended as a shot across your bow.
