My car is a daily driver and doesn't get a lot of abuse(power shifting, slamming gears etc) I do get on it occasionally. I am pretty much factory besides AC delete, cold air intake, and long tubes with flows. I just was amazed by the price. The cheapest one at the parts store is $156 and its a freakin duralast. I might try one, I will provide feedback if I do. The only reason I was changing the clutch is because I think my throwout bearing is going out. It makes a slight chatter at stops when clutch is not engaged. If I barely push the pedal it stoppes the chatter.

Also should I go ahead and change the cable and quadrant(get rid of the stupid self adjusting one) and if so what is a good cable quadrant set? I heard steeda is pretty good.

In my 85 I still have the stock quadrant, if yours works fine and you don't intend to race, leave it alone as far as clutch kit cost, it'll depend on your area

A lot of people run the SPEC must be fairly good. Also if I add more HP further down the rode would I need a stage 2 compared to a stage 1.

cheap and good usually don't follow suit on drivetrain products, headlight covers yes but not clutches
